Home Away From Home
What a start to 2022, with extreme weather events and continued twists and turns in the pandemic. The good news is that our Goward House community continues to show resilience and adaptability, in our patience and support for each other, and our eagerness to “get on” with things. Your staff is delighted to be able to re-open the House to most activities starting Monday January 24th.
We will be observing the COVID Safety protocols that we managed in the past, with respect to distancing, room capacities, masking and hygiene. Pre-registration is also required for participation in all activities. These measures are for now, and we anticipate that as we move into warmer months, protocols will change once again.

We acknowledge with respect the Lekwungen peoples on whose traditional territory the neighbourhood of Cadboro Bay lies, and the Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
