When may Goward House be rented?
- Saturdays, Sundays, and evenings
- A refundable damage deposit of $200 is required to hold a reservation, $550 for a wedding
- Please check with Heidi Hodgins, our administrator, for availability
- Please book as early as you can to avoid disappointment

Fire regulations require us to limit the number of guests in each venue — for your safety.

Venue Rental Rates
Event Rental
- Single floor or whole House (Weddings MUST rent whole House)
- Hours must be outside of House activity schedule
- Damage deposit required
- 3 hours minimum of event time required (does not include set up or take down hours)
- Includes exclusive use of kitchen and garden
- No coffee carts available
- Off-season rates available
- ENTANDEM / liquor license / insurance required
Room Rental
- Single Rooms
- During or outside House hours (pricing shifts)
- Damage deposit not required except for Lower Hall
- 2 hours minimum in evenings / 4 hours minimum on weekends
- Does not include use of kitchen nor exclusive use of garden
- Coffee carts available
- Note: Regular renters (i.e. monthly) are entitled to a 10% discount (Must rent at least 4x per year to qualify as regular renters)

Things to Know
- For gatherings of 60 and less, coffee & dessert service is available for an extra charge
- Apart from optional coffee and dessert service, Goward House does not provide catering.
- We have parking for fifty cars. Some additional parking is available on the street
- A podium and projector screen (downstairs, non-portable) are available at no extra charge.
- A list of equipment rental companies is available on request
Terms of Rental
- Liquor may not be consumed on the premises without a valid liquor license
- To respect our neighbours and conform to municipal bylaws, events must end no later than10pm weekdays and 11pm Friday and Saturday
- A $200 deposit is required to reserve the venue, $550 for a wedding. That deposit serves as a damage deposit which may be claimed after the event if there is no damage or cost overruns
- You must remove your garbage from the premises.
- You must leave the premises tidy and reasonably clean.
